Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
1. Agreement to terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the website located at https://airdriegaragedoorrepair.ca (the "Site"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Site immediately.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Airdrie Garage Door Repair ("we", "us", "our"). Please read them carefully.
2. Nature of service — independent referral platform
Airdrie Garage Door Repair is an independent marketing and referral platform. We operate the Site for the purpose of connecting homeowners in Airdrie, Alberta with independent, qualified, locally licensed garage door service providers ("Service Providers").
We do not perform garage door repairs, installations, maintenance, or any other trade work ourselves. All repair, installation, and maintenance services are carried out exclusively by independent, licensed local contractors who operate their own businesses and set their own terms, pricing, schedules, and warranties.
Airdrie Garage Door Repair is not a party to, and assumes no responsibility or liability for, any agreement, transaction, or arrangement between you and any Service Provider. We do not employ, supervise, direct, or control the Service Providers or their work. The relationship between you and the Service Provider is entirely independent of Airdrie Garage Door Repair.
You are solely responsible for verifying that any Service Provider you engage through this Site is properly licensed, bonded, and insured in accordance with applicable Alberta regulations before authorising any work. We recommend confirming the Service Provider's credentials, including their business licence, WCB coverage, and liability insurance, before permitting them to begin work.
3. Pricing disclaimer
All prices displayed on the Site — including but not limited to those on service pages, the pricing table, and within any promotional content — are indicative "starting from" figures provided for general informational purposes only. They represent common repair scenarios under typical conditions and are not binding quotes, fixed prices, or guarantees.
Actual pricing is determined solely by the independent Service Provider after conducting an on-site inspection of your specific situation. The confirmed price may differ from the starting figures shown on the Site depending on factors including, but not limited to:
- The specific parts, materials, and hardware required for your repair.
- The complexity, severity, and scope of the work involved.
- Whether the service is performed during regular business hours or outside of them.
- The condition, age, and type of your existing garage door and related equipment.
- Prevailing market conditions and the Service Provider's own rate card.
The Service Provider will confirm the final price with you before commencing any work. You are under no obligation to proceed until you have reviewed and accepted the quoted price. Airdrie Garage Door Repair does not set, control, or guarantee any price charged by any Service Provider.
4. No warranty or guarantee of service
Airdrie Garage Door Repair does not provide, and expressly disclaims, any warranty, guarantee, or representation regarding:
- The quality, safety, competence, or timeliness of any work performed by any Service Provider.
- The fitness for purpose, durability, or condition of any parts, materials, or equipment supplied or installed by any Service Provider.
- The outcome, result, or satisfaction of any service arranged through this Site.
Any warranty on parts, labour, or workmanship is a matter solely between you and the Service Provider. We strongly recommend confirming all warranty terms with the Service Provider in writing before authorising any work.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Province of Alberta and applicable federal law:
- Airdrie Garage Door Repair is not liable for any damage to property, personal injury, economic loss, or any other loss or damage arising from or in connection with work performed by any Service Provider referred through this Site.
- Airdrie Garage Door Repair is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, your reliance on any information presented on the Site, or any referral made through it, regardless of the cause of action and even if Airdrie Garage Door Repair has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Our total aggregate liability to you, for any and all claims arising from or related to your use of the Site or any referral, is limited to the lesser of (a) the total amount you have paid directly to Airdrie Garage Door Repair in connection with the services giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100.00). In most cases, no payment is made directly to Airdrie Garage Door Repair, as the Service Provider is compensated independently.
6. Dispute resolution
Any disputes, claims, or complaints regarding the quality, pricing, timeliness, or outcome of services performed by a Service Provider must be resolved directly between you and the Service Provider. Airdrie Garage Door Repair is not a party to and will not mediate, arbitrate, or adjudicate any such dispute.
If you have a complaint specifically about the Site, the referral process, or our handling of your personal information, please contact us using the details in Section 13. We will endeavour to address your concern in good faith and in a timely manner.

To the extent that any provision of these Terms conflicts with any such non-excludable statutory right, that statutory right shall prevail.
13. Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Your continued use of the Site after any changes to these Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Site.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
